When Should You See a Reproductive Medicine Specialist?

It is important to schedule an appointment with a reproductive medicine specialist in the following cases:

• if pregnancy has not occurred after 6–12 months of regular unprotected sexual intercourse;
• if either partner has a family history of genetic disorders;
• if a woman has been diagnosed with absent or blocked fallopian tubes or other reproductive disorders;
• in cases of hormonal disorders resulting in the absence of ovulation (anovulation);
• in cases of male infertility.
