But during my final years of study, I rented an apartment together with a young married couple. They were a wonderful, beautiful young family, but they had a problem. At that time, they had been married for three years but still had no children. I lived with them for two years and saw them undergo examinations, visit doctors, and receive treatment, but nothing worked. Even then, I wanted to help them,\u201d Almaz Ibragimov said during a ceremonial meeting between the Head of State and the winners of the \u201c100 New Faces\u201d project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The doctor explained that it was at that time that he began studying infertility and subsequently changed his medical specialization. Through the Bolashak program, Almaz Ibragimov entered a clinical residency at the Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy, where, according to him, he gained invaluable knowledge and experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt truly helped me find my professional calling. After returning home, I joined Ecomed, the first specialized clinic for infertility treatment and in vitro fertilization. Later, I repeatedly continued my professional training in leading European countries and the United States. I mastered methods for treating both female and male infertility and became a reproductive medicine specialist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, the result of my work together with my Astana Ecomed team is the birth of more than 5,000 children. And now one or two babies are born every day,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The doctor noted that the work of the entire Ecomed network, which had nine branches across the country, had already helped more than 12,000 children come into the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBy the way, Nursultan Abishevich, I would like to finish the story about that young family. Years later, I finally found them again. By then, they were approaching 40. There was a serious question as to whether I would be able to help them. It seemed that by that time they had already come to terms with their situation. But I decided to try, and we succeeded. Today, they have a wonderful seven-year-old daughter. That brings me great joy,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Almaz Ibragimov noted that for many families, having a child remains a cherished dream \u2014 something that can feel almost like a miracle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI would like to encourage families facing this problem not to give up, not to lose hope, and to continue pursuing their dream.
