It was on this day in 1996 that an extraordinary girl was born with the help of the Ecomed laboratory \u2014&nbsp;<strong>KAZAKHSTAN\u2019S FIRST IVF BABY!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Her birth gave hope to thousands of couples across Kazakhstan that they could overcome infertility and experience the long-awaited joy of becoming parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This miracle baby was conceived through in vitro fertilization (IVF), a method in which fertilization takes place outside the human body. IVF was introduced in Kazakhstan in 1995 after years of scientific research, dedicated work, and a strong desire to help couples struggling with infertility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The person behind this milestone was Saltanat Baikoshkarova \u2014 Kazakhstan\u2019s first embryologist, the founder of IVF in Kazakhstan, and a pioneer behind the birth of the country\u2019s first IVF baby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ecomed.kz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/2221.png\" alt=\"\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.3682008368200838;width:327px;height:auto\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are delighted that today there are already 20 reproductive medicine clinics and laboratories operating in Kazakhstan, providing modern diagnostic and infertility treatment services based on the latest scientific advances. Specialists trained by S.B.
