Opening of the ECOMED ECO Center in Ust-Kamenogorsk

Infertility is one of the major challenges of the modern world. One in seven married couples in Kazakhstan faces difficulties when trying to start a family. Despite access to the latest advances in reproductive medicine, many patients remain unaware of the treatment options available to them or do not have the opportunity to receive appropriate treatment.

ECOMED is Kazakhstan’s first and largest network of IVF and infertility treatment centers. It was with the help of ECOMED that the first IVF baby in Kazakhstan and Central Asia was born on July 31, 1996. The laboratory was established by Saltanat Berdenovna Baikoshkarova, Doctor of Biological Sciences and Scientific Director of the Ecomed clinic network, who played a key role in the birth of Kazakhstan’s first IVF baby.

The center brings together leading specialists in reproductive medicine who apply international best practices in academic, innovative, research, and clinical work. The use of advanced methods and technologies enables us to provide medical services in accordance with international standards and achieve high pregnancy rates.

Ecomed IVF centers are located in seven cities across Kazakhstan: Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent, Kyzylorda, Taraz, Atyrau, and Aktau. Today, we are pleased to announce the opening of our eighth center in Ust-Kamenogorsk!
