Material used: peripheral blood leukocytes;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) \u2014 to select embryos that have not inherited a genetic defect from their parents. Material used: embryonic blastomeres or trophectoderm cells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A clinical geneticist can determine whether genetic testing is necessary and which tests should be performed.
